Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey (d.2019) played in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5 1998. Her career has seen her achieve twelve WTA singles championships. This includes an Grand Slam in the Australian Open in 2023. As a specialist of doubles she has also won at the US Open of 2019 as in addition to her first Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. In 2019, she was the winner of two majors, in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed the Sunshine Double.
